Position Summary As an Executive Assistant you will be responsible for the following duties:
Providing program support for a variety of complex tasks that assure Institute compliance with applicable standards.
Supporting management functions.
Maintaining positive relations with the Department and other stakeholders.
Representing WMHI across multiple communication formats.
Providing administrative assistance including complex scheduling and organization duties.
Writing and preparing meeting minutes.
Compiling reports, data entry, and performing miscellaneous clerical duties.
This position is privy to confidential matters affecting the employer-employee relationship within WMHI and performs any and all activities delegated by the Director and Deputy Directors.
Salary Information The starting salary is between $22.
00 and $26.
50 per hour (approximately between $46,000 and $52,000 per year), depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits.
A 12-month probationary period is required.
Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction.
This position is classified as a Program Assistant Advanced - Confidential and is in pay schedule and range 81/05.
Job Details All applicants who may be appointed to this position will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.
A TB screen will be required prior to start.
DHS does not sponsor work visas for this position, thus, in compliance with federal law, selected candidates will be required to verify eligibility to work in the United States by completing the required I-9 form upon hire.
Qualifications Minimally qualified applicants will have all of the following:
Experience providing administrative support (preparing reports, composing letters, sorting mail, etc.
) in a professional office setting.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
) for drafting documents, data entry, etc.
Experience handling confidential personnel and patient information.
Well-qualified applicants will also have one or more of the following:
Experience managing and coordinating data management.
Experience working with staff members from a variety of disciplines.
Experience communicating verbally and through writing in a professional setting with internal and external stakeholders.
