This facility is located on Lake Winnebago with beautiful walking paths by the lake for employees to use during break periods.
WRC is recruiting to fill a Records Supervisor position.
This position will work Monday through Friday, from 7:
45am to 4:
30pm.

Position Summary As the Records Supervisor, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the WRC Records Office.
You will provide direct supervision of Corrections Sentencing Associate-Senior and Offender Records Associates.
You will be responsible for supervising the processing of sentence computations, legal actions, proper release of residents, and communicating with criminal justice agencies.
You will provide consultation and information to facility staff and residents and to DOC Records Offices.
Salary Information The starting pay is $28.
61 to $31.
83 per hour (approximately $59,500 to $66,200 per year), plus excellent benefits.
A 12-month probationary period is required.
Pay for current or former state employees is set based upon the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction.
This position is classified as an Offender Records Supervisor and is in pay schedule and range 81/04.
Job Details All applicants who may be appointed to this position will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.
All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by WRC or medical personnel approved by the facility within 30 days of the start date.
DHS does not sponsor work visas for this position, thus, in compliance with federal law, selected candidates will be required to verify eligibility to work in the United States by completing the required I-9 form upon hire.
Qualifications Minimally qualified applicants will have all of the following:
Experience performing complex mathematical calculations or computations (e.
g.
, sentencing calculations, release dates, parole eligibility, mandatory release dates etc.
), financial/budget applications, or accounting practices.
Experience in a supervisory or leadership role performing duties such as training, assigning tasks, reviewing performance, evaluating the work of others, etc.
Experience monitoring regulatory activity to maintain compliance with records and documents and document management laws.
Well-qualified applicants will also have one or more of the following:
Experience communicating while representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources (e.
g.
, by letter, phone, in person, virtually, etc.
) Experience researching on topics such as laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations executive orders, agency rules, etc.
Experience analyzing, interpreting, and applying state and federal laws, administrative rules and regulations.
Experience with resident records or working in a secure facility.
